Product details

  1. Excilor® ULTRA is an effective treatment with a revolutionary mode of action. Excilor ULTRA is a 24-hour slow release formula that delivers complete penetration in the nail.
  2. Excilor ULTRA is water resistant and compatible with nail polish. Simply, paint on, allow to dry, leave on 24 hours, then peel off the layer and reapply.

Instructions

  • Excilor® ULTRA must be applied once a day preferably after showering. Before application, clean the nail and remove any old layers of nail polish.
  • Use the brush to coat the whole nail. Make sure you apply Excilor® ULTRA generously. Allow the nail to dry (3 to 5 minutes) before putting on socks and/or shoes.
  • After 24 hours, remove the film. This is easily done by starting to peel off the film at the side of the nail. Gently roll off until the complete coating is released from the nail. This may be easier by using warm water.
  • For best results, treat the complete nail for a minimum of three months and continue the course of treatment until the nail has recovered completely.

- FAQ

My nail has a fungal nail infection. How long will it take to get rid of the fungal nail infection?

Excilor should be used until a healthy nail has regrown, this can take 6 - 12 months depending on where the fungal nail infection is and the time it takes your nail to regrow. On average a toe nail grows 1.5mm in one month. Excilor Pen and Solution should be applied twice per day. Excilor Ultra should be applied once per day.

Is this product suitable for use for children?

No clinical data is available on the use of this product for children.

Is this product suitable for use during pregnancy?

No clinical data is available on the use of this product during pregnancy.

My child put the Excilor® product in his/her mouth. What should I do?

The product's contents are not toxic but may irritate the mucous lining of the eyes, nose or mouth. If the product comes into contact with the eyes or inside of the mouth, rinse using plenty of water. If Excilor accidentally comes into contact with the mucous lining of the eyes, nose or mouth, contact the Poisons Information Line on 13 11 26.

The instructions advised me to “clean the nail and remove any traces of nail polish” before each application. Can I simply clean the nail with soap and water or should I always use nail polish remover?

Remove nail polish before applying Excilor fungal nail treatment products. If Excilor is used on nail polish, it can partially dissolve the nail polish – this in turn contaminates the product so it no longer works properly. Additionally, Excilor is unable to penetrate nail polish as effectively compared to use on a clean nail.
