Allow the nail to dry (1 to 2 minutes) before putting on socks , shoes, and/or gloves. This allows the product to penetrate the nail.

Allow the nail to dry. This takes between 3 to 5 minutes. The product is white when applied but as it dries it becomes transparent and you will notice a rubber coating which will decrease with time. For optimal effect it is advisable to wait for up to 5 minutes before putting on, socks and/or gloves.

Excilor® DUO POWER contains two pen devices: a Cryo pen and a Acid pen.

1. Cryo Treatment pen is based on the freezing method commonly used by general practitioners. It freezes warts on the spot, by rapidly freezing the core of the wart.
2. Acid Treatment pen contains a concentrated caustic formulation with Trichloroacetic acid that induces peeling of warts outer layer.During the treatment, the skin will become darker and start to peel by forming a scab. Skin peeling is a natural process and will last 1 to 2 weeks after the treatment period. Renewed skin will appear smoother, slightly pink and regain its natural colour within subsequent weeks.

A maximum of three treatment cycles is recommended. If the treated wart does not disappear after three completed cycles, please contact your general practitioner for medical advice.

Common warts (verruca vulgaris) and foot warts (verruca plantaris) appear on the skin as small, rough ‘cauliflower-like’ growths, caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection.

Common warts occur mostly on hands, fingers or toes. Foot warts mainly grow on the soles of the feet or heels and tend to be flatter, harder and are often tender/painful when walking or standing.

A fungal nail infection is often caused by excessive moisture, heat, perspiration, ageing or a weakened immune system. Normally, the nail plate is too thick for fungi to penetrate. However, damaged nails can easily become infected. Shoes that are too tight and/or feet that perspire provide conditions for fungi to develop and spread.

Fungal infections are contagious and can be passed on to others (e.g. by using communal showers). Self-contamination is also possible: the infection can spread from one nail to another if left untreated.

Wash your feet regularly.
