When in place, the Excilor® Skin Tag Treatment device stops the flow of blood to the skin tag by way of ligation. The skin tag then gradually withers away in a safe way, with negligible risk of scarring and no pain.
Skin tags are very common and harmless small, soft skin growths, 1-5 mm in diameter and 2-10 mm in height. They tend to occur on the neck, armpits, groin folds, eyelids, and under breasts.
Skin tags with a diameter up to 3 mm at the base and max 5 mm in height, can be treated with Excilor.

The plaster used is medical grade plaster.

Yes, you should ensure that the skin area is clean and dry, prior to placing the plaster on the skin.
Clean the area around the skin tag with a washcloth and warm water. A mild soap can be used, however, avoid soaps and cleansers with oils, as well as impregnated wipes, since residue can cause the plaster to loosen prematurely.
Yes, Showering can take place, however, do not soak the area in water and do not go swimming, as the plaster can loosen.
Avoid soap, shampoo, hair products, body lotion, cream and oily substances on the area, as it can cause the plaster to prematurely loosen.
You can place a conventional plaster on top of the Excilor plaster, in order to hold the device in place.
The Excilor® Skin Tag Treatment device is removed after 6 days.
Carefully tear of the plaster. When removing the device, the withered skin tag is normally removed as well.
Yes, most skin tags will disappear after 6 days of treatment.
Please note: If skin tags are larger than 3 mm in diameter at the base and max 5 mm in height, there is a risk that the device will not remove the skin tag.
If the skin tag has turned black, wait 10 days to see if the treatment was successful. A normal plaster can be placed over the skin tag during this period. If the treatment was not successful, apply a new Excilor® Skin Tag Treatment device on the skin tag and remove after 6 days.
If there is no sign of the treatment being successful after 6 days treatment, apply a new Excilor® Skin Tag.
Should Excilor® Skin Tag Treatment device fall of prior to the 6 days treatment, do NOT replace. Wait 10 days to see if the treatment was successful. A normal plaster can be placed over the skin tag during this period. If the treatment was not successful, apply a new Excilor® Skin Tag Treatment device on the skin tag and remove after 6 days.
The skin tag will most often turn black after a few days treatment. This is a sign that the treatment is working, and the blood flow to the skin tag has stopped.
Excilor® Skin Tag Treatment has no known side effects. The skin tag will be removed without pain and with negligible risk of scarring. A slight sensation during treatment might be felt after a few days. Insignificant bleeding might occur upon removal of the device.
A tiny mark might appear on the skin, however, it will disappear after some time. There is a negligible risk of scarring.
The treatment with an Excilor skin tag treatment is painless.
Excilor® Skin Tag Treatment is safe to use during pregnancy and when breastfeeding.
The device can be used from the age of 18 and above.
Do not use Excilor® Skin Tag Treatment for removal of skin tags on the eyelids or near the eye, if the skin tag is not flesh coloured, does not fit within the diameter of the applicator (the skin tag must be max. 3mm in diameter at the base and max 5 mm in height) or is bleeding.
Further, Do not use Excilor® Skin Tag Treatment if you are allergic to one or more of its ingredients/materials.
Consult your GP or Pharmacist, prior to use, if you have a history of skin cancer, have Hemophilia or if the skin tag shows signs of skin disease or infection or if you are in doubt if the condition is a skin tag.

Store the device out of the reach of children, at 2-30° and away from direct sunlight and in the original packaging. Do not use Excilor® Skin Tag Treatment after the expiry date.
